- Recording Rates are based on a variety of factors, such as group rates vs. solo artist rates, Outside engineers, DIY folks, and project needs. Contact us for a qoute. Unfortunately, due to a few bad apples taking advantage of our lenient system, we were ultimately forced into implementing some terms and conditions that will be fair for all parties involved.

In the absence of other written agreements, these Terms and Conditions shall constitute the entire agreement between the Client and MPRC and may not be modified, changed, or otherwise altered without agreement of both parties. Effective 4/1/07
1) We quote rates by the day or half day as projects require or by client's request, but generally work on a daily rate. To us "a day" is 8 hours. We reserve the right to charge the hourly rate for hours used in excess of those booked. Our week day rates range between 15-30 dollars per hour. Our weekend rates range between 20-35 dollars per hour. Upon contacting us to reserve a date, clients will be qouted their hourly rate. Rates and start times for your session will be agreed upon by both parties at time of booking.
2) The Client is responsible for all monies due to MPRC. You should arrive at the studio with the means to pay for your session. We except cash only when payments are made the day of the session. If you would like to make payments prior to your session, you may do so by credit card or PayPal by visiting our secure online store. We do not except personal checks.
3) In the event of cancellation of agreed booking or session, the Client will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 25% for solo artists, and 50% for groups. This percentage is taken from the total planned booking time, if such cancellation occurs 48 or fewer hours before the scheduled start time of the booking or session. For your own piece of mind and wallet, please make every effort to be on time for your session. Sessions start at the time that was agreed upon at booking.
4) MPRC's NO "Posse" Policy – Studio personnel must approve guests. Clients are strongly urged to not bring guests to MPRC, guests serve as a distraction to the engineer and artist alike. Non approved personnel will be asked to leave the premises.
5) MPRC shall make every attempt to secure all recording media
owned by the Client and stored on the premises, but is not responsible for loss or damage.
6) MPRC shall attempt to secure all other property (exclusive of recording media) left by the Client on the premises, but is not responsible for loss or damage due to theft, fire, or other unforeseen incident.
7) MPRC will retain possession of all recording media and digital data files until the Client has made payment in full.
8) MPRC will respect the privacy of the Client's artistic work and intellectual property and will not release, perform, cause to be performed, or otherwise distribute the Client's work without permission of the Client.
9) The Client shall be responsible for any loss or damage to MPRC property incurred by the Client, guests of the Client, or personnel acting under the Client's direction, as a result of misuse, negligence, and/or carelessness.
10) MPRC personnel reserve the right to be present during any and all portions of a booking or session.
11) Receipt of media from MPRC by the Client shall constitute acknowledgement by both parties that services have been good and truly rendered in full to the satisfaction of the Client, and shall release MPRC from liability regarding such media and services rendered.
